Our technical department is seeking an HVAC Building Mechanical Technical Support Technician. The technician specializes in the commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems such as: VRF heat pumps, air conditioning, water chillers, dehumidification systems, ventilation, energy recovery, etc.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with HVAC system startups;
• Site visits;
• Supporting and training contractors and end-users;
• Adjusting, fine-tuning, and inspecting equipment according to plans and specifications;
• Technical assistance and diagnosis of technical equipment problems;
• Preparing technical reports with recommendations;
• Compliance with safety standards.

Requirements and skills:

• Diploma of vocational training (DEP) in refrigeration and air conditioning or a college diploma in building mechanics;
• 2 to 3 years of experience in building mechanics (HVAC);
• Skills in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and controls;
• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to read technical plans and work with technical tools;
• Ability to use a computer with technical software;
• Reading technical documentation.

• Autonomous, rigorous, with good organizational and customer service skills;
• Good oral and written communication skills (French and English);
